Introducing Our Experts In Residence

We just launched something we've been quietly building for months.

Digital Healthcare Council Experts in Residence - a new initiative bringing leading voices in NHS policy, ops + innovation directly to our members.

At our launch event we had five experts. Five perspectives. 90 minutes of honest conversation.

David Furness (Shelford Group) – on behalf of a collaboration between ten of the largest teaching and research NHS hospital trusts in England

George Batchelor (Edge Health) – healthcare data and analytics expert

Andy Cowper (Health Policy Insight) – journalist and healthcare policy expert

Hamza Drabu (DAC Beachcroft) – NHS contracting and procurement, public/private sector collaborations + legal frameworks

Kay Kadel (KCL Digital) - digital transformation expert

What stood out?

➡️ Valuable insights about what is really happening on the ground
➡️ Deep expertise on how we have ended up where we are
➡️ Strategic steer on what data is available to help find a way through + where it sits
➡️ Insights on what the Government is trying to do + how DHC members can help
➡️ Discussion about challenges commonly encountered + thoughtful solutions

Our members left with practical intelligence + a plan for next steps

Thank you to DAC Beachcroft for hosting our Experts In Residence launch

This is just the beginning. Our Experts in Residence will support us to tackle the complex realities of partnering with the NHS
